Vestibular Physical Therapy

Dizziness can be alarming, scary, and often comes with other symptoms. It can be hard to know where to begin or who to see.

Do you experience dizziness when you move your head, look up, bend over, when you lie down or roll over in bed? If you answered yes to any of these, then vestibular rehabilitation can help you. There are many other symptoms associated with vestibular dysfunction that we can help with.  At Neuro Lab, you can expect a comprehensive evaluation with a thorough explanation of what is happening, why it is happening, and how to ease your symptoms. We understand the significant impact vestibular issues can have on your life, which is why we prioritize timely evaluations, ensuring you receive the care you need without long waits. This can reduce prolonged symptoms and potential secondary effects such as falls or missed work and recreation.

Neurologic
Physical Therapy

Neurologic conditions can change everything, but with the right care you can take back control. Your neurologic journey is unique, and so is our approach to your care.

You can expect  a comprehensive neurologic evaluation to learn more about your condition, your symptoms or impairments, and what your personal goals are. Neuro Lab uses research-based interventions to promote neuroplasticity (the brains ability to rewire) to improve your function, confidence, and mobility. This may look like increasing walking speed, improving your balance, and/or improving your force production and movement. Your therapist may use body weight harness supported walking, high intensity gait training, error augmentation, sensory integration and other tools. We look at the whole body, not just your symptoms. We believe your recovery journey should continue until you feel it's complete, not when insurance dictates it's over, to reach your maximum potential.

Exercise is brain changing medicine!

"Why should I join a Parkinson's group Exercise class?"

  • Exercise provides tremendous benefits for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease (PD).

  • Research shows that regular physical activity can halt, slow, and even reverse PD symptoms.

  • Exercise acts as brain-changing medicine, not just benefiting the body.

  • It’s never too late to start reaping the benefits of exercise, no matter where you are in your PD journey.

  • Starting an exercise routine can feel overwhelming, especially with the unique challenges of PD.

  • Our 45-minute Parkinson’s group classes are designed to make starting easier.

  • Classes are conducted in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

  • Exercises focus on improving mobility, balance, and strength.

  • You’ll be surrounded by others on the same journey, helping to stay motivated and engaged.

  • Our classes are tailored for individuals at any stage of PD, whether newly diagnosed or managing it for years.

  • The goal is to help you move forward with confidence.
